Work will start on the Hub in May
May will see the start of work to transform Llandaff North Library into a hub which will be a real community ‘heart’. Your councillors Dilwar Ali and Sue White, and Julie Morgan, AM, are looking forward to the hub being used by the whole community.
They were delighted to offer it as a new home for the 2nd Llandaff Scout troop which has to quit its home on a site owned by Christchurch.
“The scouts are now trying to raise the money to buy their site but we have made it clear they could use the hub for minimal rent,” said the Labour team.
“We are really looking forward to the completion of the hub which will offer the same number of books as the library, a community run cafe, housing advice service and community facilities available for use by groups like the Scouts.”
The work is due to start in May and should be completed in the Autumn. Alternative library provision will be made while the work is being carried out.
“This is good news for all the community,” said your Labour team. “The hub will benefit people of all ages.”
