Lydstep Flats has long been blighted with anti social behaviour and we are working hard to address the issues that resident’s have raised. The cabinet member for housing and social justice, Lynda Thorne recently met with residents and listened to the issues that are really affecting their quality of life. Lynda advised residents that she will be starting a review of the Council’s allocation policy shortly and this is the starting point for improving the flats, which Lynda wants to ensure become a desirable place to live for residents of all ages.
We have arranged a public meeting for the residents of Lydstep Flats on Thursday 9th August, 6pm at All Saints Church Hall, Gabalfa Road, Llandaff North. Residents will also receive a presentation from the Neighbourhood Watch scheme at this meeting.
