CARRIAGEWAY SURFACE TREATMENT – ABERTEIFI CRESCENT & WESTERN AVENUE NORTH
We are pleased to inform you that Aberteifi Crescent and Western Avenue is included in the Council’s Carriageway Surface Treatment Programme. The enclosed plan shows the section of road that will be treated. It is intended that the work will be undertaken between 12/03/2016 and 22/03/2016 and take approximately 2 days to complete.
As this process is weather dependant, dates can change, so information signs will be erected on site before works commence to inform you about the actual start date, we would encourage residents to monitor theses signs in case of any changes to the planned works. Regular updates will be provided on the Council’s website so you can check to see the latest schedule. To access this page, please visit www.cardiff.gov.uk/highway-improvements
This road is being treated with micro asphalt to improve its condition and durability. If you would like to have a look at the process, please click the link on the website. I have also enclosed an advice note that explains the chosen treatment.
It is intended to keep any disruption to a minimum, but to assist with the surface treatment process, it is necessary for all cars and vehicles to be parked off the road while the works are ongoing. The Council’s Contractor will relocate any vehicles still parked along the street when the works commence. For further information on this matter please ring (029) 2087 2087.
