Copy of the letter from Cuddy Group to local residents below:
As previously stated we would like to keep you updated of our work related intention on Andrews Road.
Week commencing 25th November 2013 there will be a temporary lane closure placed on Andrews Road; this will only affect the east bound lane although parking will be restricted on that side of the road. This is to enable the installation of a new foul sewer line to pick up the proposed new homes.
The partial closure will run in conjunction with the Section 50 license agreement to install new apparatus in the carriageway and may run until the end of April 2014 or to such time as the proposed work is complete.
From January 06th 2014 there will be a full road closure from properties 41 to 61. Access to properties and adjacent parklands will only be accessible to pedestrians. This is to allow the installation of a proposed new surface water drainage system within the east bound lane of Andrews Road.
If you are expecting any large deliveries, it may be prudent to inform them of the vehicle restrictions to Andrews Road from November 25th to April 23rd 2014.
In special circumstances we will make every effort to accommodate individual needs.
At a later date following on from the proposed drainage installations we will be re-surfacing the whole length of Andrews Road, this is programmed in for Mid April 2014.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused while the works progress and would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and support.
If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact our site team.
