There is strong support for a petition for traffic calming measures in Station Road, Llandaff North. More than 200 people have already signed the petition, said your local councillors, Sue White and Dilwar Ali. “Parents turned out in force to support us at a ‘demonstration’ at the pedestrian crossing at the start of May,” they said. “And more people signed the petition when we had a street stall. Our AM member Julie Morgan, who is always concerned about community issues, joined us.”
There is a great deal of concern about cars speeding through Llandaff North, especially after two near misses involving schoolchildren.
The petition will be presented to Cardiff Council at its June meeting.
