STATION ROAD – LIDL SUPERMAKET PLANNING APPLICATION
You have probably already heard that the longstanding Llandaff North James and Jenkins business on Station Road has ceased to operate and the site has been sold to Lidl. The well know supermarket chain recently held a consultation day in the former garage and displayed the plans and the planning application has been submitted to the Council on 4th June 2014 reference no: 14/01338/DCO.
We also held a public meeting following the consultation day to gauge your views on the proposed plans. People told us that they were worried about the additional traffic on Station road, the size of lorries delivering to the proposed supermarket and the plan to remove the skittle alley and beer garden of The Pineapple Pub. We still need to hear your views on the planning application, which you can see on the Cardiff Council website: https://planing.cardiff.gov.uk/online-applications/
