We have reported the issue on 7th July 2013 regarding overgrown vegetation around the subway leading from Western Avenue North.
An inspection has been undertaken to assess the extent of the problem and any overhanging vegetation managed. The inspection also revealed that part of the problem was due to the presence of Japanese Knotweed of this plant which will continue to cause a problem to pedestrians and could damage the pavement if left uncontrolled. The work and treatment will take place in September.
