Learn Internet Safely with Google at Central Library Hub – 5th Feb

Cardiff Hubs and Libraries service is marking Safer Internet Day by teaming up with Google to offer advice and coaching on digital skills to keep people safer online.

Google is bringing its Google Digital Garage to Central Library Hub on Tuesday February 5 to deliver two drop-in sessions focussing on how individuals and families can be confident in using the internet safely. The two sessions will take place at 10am and 11am on the fifth floor of the Creative Suite in the library hub.

The Google Digital Garage is one of Google’s flagship investment programmes in the UK, where anyone can come and learn free digital skills through a range of courses or 1:1 sessions. Since launching the Google Digital Garage in 2015, over 300,000 people have benefited from Google’s free face-to-face training on digital know-how across 250 locations in the UK including regular events at Central Library Hub.
